Level 3 Award

Duration: 5 Days

A regulated and nationally recognised qualification provides Learners with the knowledge, understanding and skills required to prepare them for teaching in a wide range of contexts. Over a 5 day period, Learners will build an understanding of the specific roles and responsibilities related to planning and delivering inclusive training sessions.

Topics covered include: maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment, relationships between teachers and other teaching professionals, assessing Learners and providing constructive and developmental feedback. During the course candidates will need to complete 4 written assignments, 1 set of written questions, and a scenario, with a practical assessment consisting of a Microtech in addition to various formative and continuous assessment conducted throughout the course.


Assessing Vocational Achievement (RQF)

Duration: Workbased qualification

This regulated and nationally recognised qualification allows Learners to develop the knowledge, understanding and skills to effectively perform the role of an Assessor in a wide range of contexts and has been specifically designed for those who need to assess occupational competence in the work environment an assess vocational skills, knowledge and understanding outside the work environment i.e. training setting.

Transferable to any sector that the Learner has occupational competence in, this qualification provides a national benchmark for best practice in assessing. Successful Learners will leave with the skills required to assess competency based qualifications such as NVQs as well as vocational qualifications such as first aid. Throughout the qualification Learners will build an in-depth knowledge of assessing, covering key topics including: principles and practices of assessment, types of assessment methods, the importance of quality assurance in assessment processes and more. To complete the course candidates will need to copleate 3 workbook that cover both theory and practical assessments.


Understanding the Principles and Practices of Assessment (RQF)

Duration: Workbased qualification

This regulated and nationally recognised qualification has been specifically designed to provide Trainee Assessors with the knowledge and understanding of the principles and practices of assessment. and is ideal for those who are looking for an introduction to the principles and practices of qualification assessment.

This qualification may also be suitable for those who are currently performing the role of Assessor for certain vocationally related qualifications Throughout the duration of this course, Learners will develop the knowledge and understanding of assessment. Topics covered include: principles and requirements of assessment, how to plan assessments, quality assurance of the assessment process, managing information relating to assessment and more. During the course learners are required to complete a workbook which include assignments (theory assessment) and continuous formative assessments.

Presentation Skills

Duration: 1 Day

This highly interactive one day course is aimed at anyone who needs to stand up in front of a group and give a talk or presentation, and will provide you with the knowledge and skills to create and deliver a presentation to get your message across with impact, learn how to conquer nerves, help nature people’s attention and tips on how to get the audience on your side. At the end of the course you will have opportunity to put in to practice what you have learnt by delivering a short presentation in a relaxed and supportive environment.
